Cleveland Coders is a multi-faceted mentoring initiative developed by UBF. The first pilot program was launched in the Richmond Heights School District on October 19, 2015. President Obama was the inaugural Cleveland Coder, receiving a Cleveland Coder t-shirt and cap when he visited Cleveland in March, 2015.
Mum-Ford provides low and fixed-income patients with preventive eye care, prescription glasses, repairs to frames and lens, and replacement of frames and lens.

A shining example of UBF’s goal to take ownership of the conditions in the community and work toward its improvement is the Our Family Home Center in East Cleveland. The founder and director, Clifford Williams, often pays out of his own pocket when donated goods are not available.
