The story of a journey…of connections made, visions shared,

events planned, exhibits displayed, long-term impact created,

friends introduced, and the human spirit elevated.

There is a symbiotic connectedness between the Black and

Jewish communities. A shared vision. Over the past several years,

Cecil J. Lipscomb has gotten to know well the workings of the

Jewish Federation of Cleveland, in part through his relationship

with Alan Grossman, Vice President and Director of Endowment

Development (now retired). Through Alan, Cecil was able to connect

with Jessica Cohen, Managing Director of Community Relations, and

invited her to join the UBF Board of Directors.
